20 February 2014 033B Munster H'dle


The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the second last hurdle involving Indian File, ridden by A.P. Crowe, placed fourth and Our Katie, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared that Indian File shifted inwards. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards gave A.P.Crowe the benefit of the doubt, however B.Hayes was cautioned concerning the accuracy of his evidence.

033F Bishop Auckland Theatre (QR) H'cap H'dle

Mr M. Watson, rider of Dancin' Glory trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into herself in running.

033G Powerstown INH Flat Race

Mr J.J. Burke, rider of Maryjean, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was dropping back when stumbled independently and fell in the straight.

033H Surehaul Mercedes-Benz Novice H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Moonshine Lad, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Carberry, rider of Moonshine Lad, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled on the ground.
